Thanks for the honesty about your own family. I think Diane Shuler&#039;s story has made us all take a look at our families and our own habits. It is so upsetting to think that something could get that out of control without people knowing or intervening.</description>

		<description>I and the rest of my family discovered my brother&#039;s extreme alcoholism (when he was diagnosed with advanced stage cirrhosis).  We were all completely shocked.  There is no end some alcoholics will go to hide their disease and there is no end some families will go to deny the clues that do sneak out.  My heart goes to all the families involved.  It&#039;s a very very sad story.</description>
